We go to Fiji every year. As beautiful as Hawaii, with only 4% of the visitors. Driving is OK, on the left, and the road is full of traffic humps, as you need to slow down in the villiages. The main road disects many villiages, and there are children playing, and goats and cows wandering. Avoid driving at night. The scenery is beautiful, especially as you get away from Nadi.

Getting around Fiji is easy, there's virtually one road round the island, full of potholes! Take care with your belongings and your car, nothing is safe here. Change money at the airport or in Suva, the only places we could change money. And forget about using a credit card!

Never park in Fiji!!! my car was stolen now about 3 times and im in the good parts of Fiji. People are very kind here but my guess is they never reveal there inner selfs. Fiji is the worst place to park your car in.

Driving here is a mission as the roads are not very well maintained and full of pot holes, but one advanges is you cannot get lost as the road runs along the coast line and yopu do eventully end up at the point you started from. I you are like myself and my friend then this is not a problem. I enjoyed the ride and would do it again in a heart beat.
